Hey Ladies! Wanted to let you all know that it's about a 6 mile, pretty ride to the time trial course from my house. If anyone is interested, we could meet here, ride over, and watch a while. Let me know if you're interested! :)

Oh, very!! Excellent timing...I was just sitting here (at work! bad me!) trying to figure out how to do this. I actually just shot an email over to the Amgen folks to ask if I can ride the whole course. We'll see if anyone emails me back!

I'll PM you later, Slinke. I think I still have your cell #, just not your address. :D

Work schmork! Where are your priorities, Woman? ;)

I'm really glad you guys got to see the race today! One question... if you ride your bike onto the course to watch do you have to get there before the start time? Can you walk on or off the course at any point during the race?

It appears there will be live video again at 11 am PST- http://cbs5.com/

The helicopter pilots just chat back and forth in an attempt not to run into each other. You can get live text feed from VeloNews and CyclingNews.

So, Reporter Jobob has passed the notepad to Slinke, BikeMomma and MountainPuddles. We're waiting!! :D

I haven't looked at the start list lately, but I don't recall seeing that Bianchi had a team there.

Cool coverage on cbs5.com, if uninformative. Someone needs to tell the helicopter camera guy that you DON'T focus on the one dude who's getting dropped by the pack on the climbs. ;)

Geez, I want to be like Eki when I grow up. The guy's 41 years old and smoking those youngsters.

Karen, it looks like Bianchi sponsors Liquigas who didn't come. Too bad. It would have been fun to see Backstedt. Of course, this isn't to say some of the riders weren't on Bianchi bikes gone incognito. At the prologue, there were a lot of frames in different color schemes than the rest of the team and missing decals.

Hey Gals....

Just a late night note to say I'll have pics coming of Wednesday's Stage 3 San Jose TT....as soon as I can get my film developed (old fashioned, I know, but my cheap digital camera proved it really was cheap....).

Mountainpuddles and I got reeeeeally close to Georgie (like pretty much touching distance)...and were right in front for the ceremonial stuff. Floyd sure has a great smile! And Dave Z. looked so cute and slightly uncomfortable in the limelight. That guy's my fav.;)

I want to thank Mountainpuddles again for a great day. Becky -- I think I figured out who my picture sidekick is....I'll have to verify it after the film is developed, but I think it was Mike Jones of HealthNet. Way cool. And Slinke....soooo sorry you couldn't make it. You were missed!
