My dad (65) and I (39) are going to bike to all 40 State Parks in Missouri that have campgrounds. We leave May 1.
We have a crazyguy journal: 40 State Parks (https://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/?o=1&doc_id=11130&v=5k)

Inspired by Maidei, I'm introducing You.

This is You.
Since so many want to go on this trip with me but can't, You will go in your place. You can't wait to leave. I'll take many pictures of You. You & I & Dad will rock this trip! I just wish You'd pedal sometimes.
You look like a chicken.

I am originally from SW MO. I admire your sense of adventure and fortitude to even plan such an adventure because Missouri is not flat!!!

Good luck!!!

I know it! I went to school in Springfield and my husband is from that area. His family is from Lebanon; his mom moves around a lot. My daughter is in school at Rolla.

Do you have connections in the area? I want to build up a big network along the way, so people (besides You) can bike with us, camp with us, fetch us groceries or a spare tube... Seriously, I think it will be so much more fun if we can share the adventure with a lot of people.

Sorry, only connection is 86 yo mother and she is not into biking..lol! I'll keep your dates in mind for when we visit (Springfield) and let you know if we would be available for fetching and riding. Sounds like a blast!

Good luck to You. And the other two. I assume You has a helmet? Uh, oh, grammar problems! Will You be on the handlebars or stuffed in a pack somewhere beside dirty socks?

I had already decided that grammar will treat "You" as second person: You do not have a helmet. I hadn't thought of that. That would be too cute, if I could find something.
I hadn't thought about You being out in the open, I'd just assumed You would snuggle up to the dirty socks. I bet we can find a better spot for You.

These are important details that I want to get just right.

It's your blog and it's your You, :p but I really think she should be referred to as 3rd person. I understand that You represents all of us poor slobs who can't ride with you, but I find myself having to reread what you write about her to have it make sense. Maybe I've been spending too much time on subject/verb agreement with my class. :D

That's what I like about 2nd-person. Because deep down, I have a bit of a mean streak. But You understand. :D
