Have you seen this website? It's awesome. If I had daughters, I would so be all over this! It is the essence of anti-Disney/Barbie cool stuff for girls. I was turned onto via FB, a friend who has two girls 7 & 9 had posted a book list of chapter books with strong girls in them. I added a few from my girlhood. Somehow this website got brought into the conversation ... and I think it's amazing.

I have been a huge fan of Goldieblox for months and months. I have the toy at home! They have just run into a PR buzzsaw with the objection of the Beastie Boys for using/parodying their song in this totally wonderful video. I hope Debbie Stirling can work out this problem because I think she is just a genius!
