Enabler!

Finances are a barrier I'm afraid.

It's actually less than I thought it would be.

I'll be a halfway enabler, start putting money aside for it. I like! :-)

I never understood this bike lust thing until I started riding again and now have three bikes in the stable! I am always looking at stuff to dream about now. It seems there is always something I "need."

This probably falls under "if you have to ask.....", but would you be willing to share? I couldn't find it on the blog post.

I have the Volagi Liscio and I love it. The disc brakes are amazing. The bike is SO comfortable for long distances (of course that's what it was designed for). It's a friend's company, so I was an early adopter. :)

I wasn't going to look into the price because I knew it would be expensive and very likely more than I can afford right now. But your question spurred me to contact Volagi for a price quote. $3345 for the "frame module" which is the limited edition Ti frame and carbon fork. Yeah, no. I won't be getting one. I could have a builder do a custom frame in Ti at that price.

It's too bad. I'd like to support Volagi but I can't fathom spending that much.

The insanity of that Specialized lawsuit against them should have been enough for people to want to support them!

Yup. That was BS. I bought my bike before the trial and rode it proudly throughout. :)

That is a beautiful bike.

Yay!! I am pretty sick and tired of the giant Gorillas of the bike industry pulling stunts like this. It's one of the reasons why I've had my eye on Volagio and was so excited by this bike. Alas, it was not meant to be.

Enlighten me? Specialized is starting to seem more and more like a company whose pockets I don't wish to line...

There's more out there with a quick google search if you want more than that:)

And that definitely was not the first example of Specialized bullying a smaller competitor. They're jerks.

Doesn't surprise me. At all.
