I don't wanna go! It's cold out there. (OK, I know, it's California, I'm a wimp) I can see snow on the hills. Whine.

Guess I better go get dressed, a ton of "Princesses" await.

30 miles today.....and in a selfish note, I hope I'm not sweep today:o

Cold? I just checked the weather forecast for San Jose and saw that that current temperature is 42, warming into the 50s. Hmmm. It's warmed up to 20 degrees here - and with the wind chill the temp is pegged at 5 degrees (Fahrenheit for those of you reading from the more up-to-date temp & measures part of the world).

OK, OK, I know that 42 is chilly - but think what it could be!

I didn't manage to ride yesterday, cold temps with way too much wind, and I can't believe I'm actually thinking of braving it today since the temp is still only 23 degrees (11 with the wind chill, brrr!).

So Snap - those of us in the cold parts of the country are very jealous of your riding conditions today!

I guess for the girls in colder areas this doesn't seem cold but I guess its really what your body gets use to. If winters are normally mild then this would seem cold.

Its 34 here at the moment with plenty of snow lying around and that seems pretty cold to this little Aussie.

Enjoy your ride Snap I will think of you when I venture out on my MTB this afternoon.:)

Of course you're absolutely right! If you're used to 50s and 60s - then 30s and 40s seem cold. I konw my limits as to low temps, and 20s is it for me, although I know some of the women here ride at much colder temperatures. I have to gauge by how long I can be out without losing all of the feeling in my hands and feet. Of course, yesterday, my face would have frozen first!

I guess I'm just jealous of your temps given what I am used to here... I keep telling myself - it's February 19th, and the first day of spring (from a calendar standpoint, that is) is only a month away.

Enjoy your weather, and if you have any pull with the weather wizard, please send some (of your relative) warmth our way!

Hey Denise I just talked to my sister inlaw (in Australia) on the phone and she tells me its going to be around 95 today and 100 tomorrow in Western Australia. Ill see if the weather wizard can divert a bit of warm from the Southern Hemisphere to you.:)

Happy (hopefully warmer) riding.
