Descending from the Overlook

Cross the ridge in front of me and you're in Black Diamond Regional Park. This baked, lumpy, cracked soil is like riding a rock garden.

One of the few not fire road trails - loose black, lumpy soil that the bike handled REALLY well.

It was hot - 88 degrees or so and as you can see, almost no shade. A good ride though, we hadn't ridden the Lakview Trail before - some steep climbing and really lumpy descents. The view from the Overlook was nice, but the last pitch up it was nasty. :D

That is indeed a pretty sweet bike - looks like an awesome trail as well.

I feel that way about my FS bike (and mine is nowhere near as nice as yours). It just makes me happy event just to look at it, in a slightly different way than my road bikes.
