Seatpost (clamp, actually) with ample tilt...?

I love my SMP saddle (yay for no more hamburger girl bits!), but we've got the nose as high as it can go with my stock Cannondale seatpost (whatever came on the '11 Supersix 4) and is still not as level as I seem to need. The nose is down a hair and I am feeling it in my hands as I work to push myself back on the saddle.

I don't think I need much in the way of setback, just a seatpost that has a clamp with more tilt ability and a wide bracket from front-to-back (Selle requires 32mm, IIRC). Also top and bottom halves of the clamp that are the same size, according to their recommendation (http://www.sellesmp.com/smp4bike/en/support/assemble-and-adjust-saddle).

Any recommendations...?

For a stopgap measure, you can shim the clamp with a little piece of metal. I've done this to micro-adjust a toothed clamp. Use a pair of snips to cut a piece out of a can - steel is much better than aluminum, which will compress pretty quickly - and be careful of sharp edges.

Shoot, that post is too skinny. I believe my bike requires a 36.1mm wide post (I'd have to double-check, but that's what sticks out in my head). Otherwise that looks like a good solution.

Shimming the clamp is a thought. I'd never considered that, but it seems like a workable solution. I wonder if that could damage the rails, though...?

I suggest a seatpost that uses two screws to position the rails for better and more reliable adjustability. I use an Amoeba Borla, it's cheap and relatively light, but I'm not sure about available dimensions.

Yeah, my current one uses 2...I keep seeing 1-bolt clamps and wondering how one little bolt can be trusted to hold a saddle adequately.

It might be worth looking at the new ones, I think there's still some back tilt available, just not as much. They come in 31.6 now.
