The newspaper article said there were 11,159 actual riders. It's the largest one day ride in the US.

My husband and I were there also. We did the 100 miles. This was our 9th year. The weather this year was GREAT! Sept. 8th we will be doing the Enchanted Circle Century in Red River, NM.

Awesome! I did the metric and my partner did the 100. Our next out of town ride will be the Texas Time Trials. I'm not up to a century yet.
