So now that I'm almost sure I want to switch to Speedplays (wish they had a trial like saddles) I need to decide between Zeros and Light Action. I am leaning towards the LA because it's supposed to be super easy to get in and out of, but I like the idea of adjustable float. What do y'all think?

I put speedplay chromoly zeros on my bike and i didn't have too much trouble with them, as in clipping in. I also do not have knee issues but I am liking the float at the moment. Prior to the speedplays it had been a while since I used clipless pedals. I wasn't riding much and so I gave my hybrid to my daughter and swapped out the pedals for her.

I am really very happy with my light actions. Don't feel like I need the extra float, and actually glad I don't have it.

The light actions have more float than the zeros. You can adjust the zeros, but not the light action. I went with the light action and have been happy with them.

I just got some keep on kovers for my cleats. I'm interested to see how they do

+1 Light Actions. And I don't know what I'd do without the cafe covers! Much more secure walking, plus they protect the cleat base in the shoe which seems to get scratched up very easily.
