I like the look of this bike.

I need help reading between the lines ;) I'd like to find an errand-running, around-the-neighborhood kind of bike. This one is listed under the mountain bike category, but is described as a hybrid. I'd like a more upright ride than is shown in the picture (handlebar level at or above the seat), but not upright like a commuter. This gearing appears low and from my Bike Friday experience, I know the smaller wheels need higher gears to stay a little speedy, but maybe the 11-32 cassette is adequate? So, what do you think? With the proper adjustments would this be a neighborhood bike? Or does it seem to really be a mountain bike for off-road use? I don't know much (or anything) about mountain bike geometry so the numbers mean nothing to me.
And for some reason I want a silver bike with raspberry grips :o
