This is our training ride this weekend. A single loop w/o summiting Diablo is 60 miles. We will be doing 2 loops - summit negotiable. :p
Meet at Arbolado park at 8 AM if you'd like to join us for the first loop. If you want to do two loops, I'd encourage bringing lights.
You can also return via Danville to avoid climbing Diablo.
This is a training ride, somewhere between social and hammerfest, regrouping at turns only so every 90 minutes or so.

But the Tour of California starts on Sunday!
Well, no matter. I'm not in shape for even one loop. :(

Love to go but the plan is to attend the Prologue and we're on standby to tow the LBS' bike trailer down for the vendor festival.
Don't tell them, but I'm secretly hoping that they'll need the Bike Bus/Trailer hauler because the CSC Team and Bob Roll have been known to hang out at their booth, and this would give me an excuse to hang out there also. Groupie camouflage. :D

We opted to not go to the Prologue, we're watching Mon. & Tues. Sunday is LONG ride day.

I'd love to join you but we leave for Tahoe tomorrow morning. And we are missing the Tour of CA!! :( If we had known 8 months ago that next week was The Week, we would not have not made our plans to go to Tahoe.
Have a good ride - and take lots of pics at the Tour!!

Have fun in Tahoe! Enjoy being in the snow with your daughter. Those memories are just as special (maybe more so) than a bike race. Of course both would have been nice. :p

Both WOULD have been nice. And it is snowing on Mt. Tam right now!! We could have stayed home AND gotten snow. No ski lifts here, though! :D

There's snow on Diablo today, well over half-way down the mountain! Maybe you'll see some at the junction. Don't forget the camera(s) (like that's ever happened).

We're going to ride up Diablo first from Arbolado, then ride over to MT. Diablo is beautiful with all the snow.
