I can sell the bike I crashed on twice and that I HATE for $275. Am I being to cheap? I can't find any bike even like mine listed for that much. I doubt the tune-up makes a difference. Most people would probably buy the bike and then tune it up on their own.
It is a 5 year old bike.
Any opinions. the link is below

I doubt I could even get that much if I traded it in.
I love my new Ruby Specialized Road Bike.

I should have asked about this here I listed it. I think I might pull the ad and post it later. I am under no obligation to sell, right?
And this is how ignorant I am . .I didn't even know a drivetrain was important! How do I figure out what kind of drivetrain it has?
Does the tune up make a difference at all?
What would you sell it for? Remember I crashed it twice. Well, actually three times. The bike has bad karma for me. In fact, I wanted to keep the pedals but then decided it wasn't worth having anything from that bike on my wonderful 2012 Specialized Ruby!

I actually think the bike is priced just fine. From what I can tell, the only 105 part is the rear derailleur. The drivetrain is otherwise nothing to necessarily highlight. The bike is 5 years old and, perhaps more importantly, probably one of many for sale in your area that are relatively similar, i.e., an entry level fitness/hybrid type bike. You're also nearing the end of the summer riding season so demand might be lower.
I would list it at $275 or best offer. If you get several people interested in it, then negotiate up from there or take $275 and run. You're likely not leaving that much more money on the table. Or list it higher and if you don't quickly get any interest, reduce it from there. Your call....

I have had three offers at $275 from Craig's list. I had those offers within 12 hours of posting the bike. I have had no offers since.
I couldn't find another one like it for sale so I guessed thinking what I might want to pay for a 5 year old bike. (I knew it's been crashed, the perspective buyers don't. Seeing as it has been tuned up I think it's a moot point).
I could use the $275 to buy things for my Specialized Ruby. Of course then it would still be connected to the Giant. Maybe I will buy something else. LOL
