We're flying back to CA today. Our week in Crested Butte has been pretty awesome - 4 days of mountain biking, some rock climbing, hiking and paddle boarding.

I wish I lived around mountains :( I did at one time but, did not find my love of cycling until well after I moved.

No we didn't go with Western Spirit, although Mark Sevenoff , co owners of WS was there as the instructor. He was fabulous! My whole goal for the trip was to get over my fear of exposure (caused by falling down a cliff in 2007!) and to get trust back in my skills. The trails got more exposure each day and I came away from the trip really loving mountain biking again and wanting to get a new bike! :D

It took us TWO days to fly home though and our luggage didn't make it. Next time I think we'll drive.

Yep, I think so too. Even with the flight delay, I am still flying high over the trip and how good riding felt. :D
