I am a couple months in to getting adjusted to my road bike (Fui Finest 1.0, craigslist special!) and ready to move into clipless.

After an endless search for tiny person shoes, I picked up a pair of Sidi's on ebay. They came with adapter plates and I went to assemble today... only 3 of 4 holes lined up. What am I doing wrong? Did I just get bunk adapter plated with my ebay purchase? You can see the adapater plates are Sidi brand, so I am stumped.

Any suggestions?

I am thinking of taking to my local bike shop but I am worried they will want to machine a larger top whole, which would compromise the integrity of the adapter plate. helps.

Which model are they? (the shoes)

Edit: If they have an adapter plate for Looks, those have to be old shoes.

Yes, they are definitely old.... Dynamic. I get the sense they were sitting in someone's closet for a long time, because they were in original packaging and immaculate condition.

Dynamic. They are definitely an old model, I can't even find them on the Sidi website.

My guess is they were made in 2005-2007?

Here is a link to an old product posting if that helps. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/sidi-dynamic-road-cycling-shoes-for-women~p~61749/
