Hello Ladies!
This is a bit of a brag post, but it was a really great experience, so I want to share!
Last weekend, my race partner Dani and I tackled the Heart of the South 500 (actually 517 mile) race in 31 hours and 42 minutes! We relayed for about 8 mile stretches in the beginning, and then we went down to about 5 miles each. On the climbs we went for about a mile, but we rode pretty hard.
There was only one other team in the race (male team), which we beat.
It was fantastic, hard, and a blast!
I put up a bunch of pictures on my blog (http://kacietri-ing.blogspot.com/2013/04/starting-at-finish-check-out-this-dream.html).
This was the one real race that we get to do on our way towards 2-person Race Across America on June 15th!! It's getting here fast!
