What were they THINKING??????

I'm old enough to remember sewn chamois with center seams. It is not a pleasant memory. Those were just SEAMS with no frickin ZIPPER in the middle of them. Geeeeez.

Hi Oak, hi ny,

"What were they THINKING??????"

I'm just guessing here, but I assume SMP were thinking the wearer would be sitting on a Selle SMP saddle. SMPs have a very wide cutout running the full length of the saddle:

Heh. That would help I'm sure, but just the side to side movement of the legs is going to pull the seam back and forth across one's parts.

And the reviewer's description of getting hair caught ... I've heard both men and women say the same thing about going commando under tight jeans. Can't see how this would be any different.

Hi Oak,

Thanks for your reply, I see what you mean. I'd forgotten the chamois can move "back and forth across one's parts" as I reject shorts that move that way on me.

Obviously a WOMAN had nothing to do with this design!!! What on earth made them dream that this could in any possible way work? Drop-tail bibs work fine as long as they have the design right. Can't imagine that a man would like this design either...
