I've a 2011 full suspension 13 inch Jamis Dakar XC Comp for sale.

16001

The specs are found here: http://www.jamisbikes.com/usa/thebikes/pdfs/11_dakarxccomp.pdf

There are several things that are not stock on this bike:

The rear cassette is a 10-speed 11-34 rather than the stock 11-32.
Saddle is a Selle Italia Lady Gel Flow (LDY)
Front tire is a Geax Mezcal, rear tire is a brand new Mountain King.
The right shifter is stock, the left shifter is a SRAM X0 grip as shown here.

16000

Grips are Ergon GP5, no pedals included though we can discuss the Sun Ringle ZuZu BMX pedals currently on the bike if you REALLY want them - I am planning on switching them to my other bike otherwise.

Since I learned how to mountain bike with this lovely Jamis it has hit the dust a few times...the BIKE is fine, my neck is not (which is why I am selling it). I can provide contact information for my bike store if you would like to ask my bike mechanic about the condition of the bike so you don't have to take my word for it. It might, possibly, have 200 miles on it, at the wildest stretch of imagination it could have 400 but I really don't think that is possible.

My asking price for TE members is $900 + packing/shipping - this sweet full suspension bike is begging to feel dirt under her wheels once more, might YOU be the lucky one to take her?

Bump :) If you are in a state that borders Indiana I would consider meeting you halfway to save packing/shipping charges.

Bump!

I've learned the 2011 model Dakar Comp has better components than the 2013 model.

My lovely Jamis is now sold and going to a new home where she can do more than collect dust :)

Congrats! I'll think of you as I ride mine. It's a great bike.

Please do! It was hard to sell her, but sadly my mtb days are over due to the neck injury. I thought about trying to convert her to a gravel road/commuter but that would be expensive and no guarantee that it would ever be comfortable. Better she go to someone who can ride her :)

You made the right choice. It's great that you can still ride even if it doesn't involve a MTB.

I am the lucky buyer of this lovely Jamis. :)

I am very sorry that Catrin can no longer MTB, but I will definitely enjoy this bike now that I'm back in the US. I sold my beloved Titus Racer X before moving to Belize and have regretted it ever since, so I knew I'd have to add another fullie to my posse sooner rather than later! I just bought my DH a very similar Jamis Dakar on Ebay, so we are looking forward to being able to ride our twin bikes together this summer. I am going to try to pick the bike up in Indianapolis on our travels from Ohio to Kansas in May.

Thanks Catrin! :D

You are very welcome Emily - it made it MUCH easier knowing that she went to a TE member who will really enjoy having her! She even gets a playmate in your DH Dakar, which I am sure she will love - post pictures in the mountain bike thread here of her (and your) trail adventures :D Thank you for giving her a good home and for helping out my emergency savings account!
