This was in front of my classroom door this morning. Isn't it cool? The agriculture/shop teacher claimed it was an early retirement gift. I'm retiring after 34 years in the classroom on July 1st. Woohoo.

I absolutely love it. If I ever own a house again, I want one!

Beautiful gift for someone who was obviously appreciated by many. Congrats and happy retirement (I'm jealous)!

Well, easier said than done. I had a green thumb many years ago, but when I started having children and responsibilities it seemed to vanish. Maybe now is the time to try again!

That's great! What a terrific surprise, and congratulations on your retirement.

You could always do it with excelsior baskets and silk or plastic flowers. :) I'm useless at container gardening, too.

Awww. I'm not really a fan of stray objects filled with plants, but that really is adorable. :-)

Cool!

You could keep anything in there; doesn't have to be a plant.
