I told Shawna, my trainer, that I wanted to move to jumping the 30 inch step. The 24 inch one is quite manageable for me. The 30 inch, however, looks daunting! Before we got the platform steps I had been jumping on steps like for step class stacked up and 28 inches is the highest I have done.

If you tell your trainer you want to do something... the workouts get a little more interesting. Wednesday is leg and plyometric day. For my first round of exercises I got to do everything wearing the 20 pound vest, including jumps onto the 18 inch step. :p A long time ago I weighed 30 pounds more than I do now. There's nothing like taking off a 20 pound vest to make you feel grateful about getting healthier.
