woman cyclocross in San Diego

I'd like to know more about CX .... Been searching around for a friendly women club that welcome total beginners ;-) can only find mends clubs....anyone have any women club contacts ?

I do not live in San Diego, but here's my two cents. Find out where there are cyclocross races being put on. Go to one or two of them to watch; ask around and you will find out what you need to know.

You could try asking the Luna Chix or Velo Bellas. Both are great groups of ladies and they do beginner rides, though not necessarily CX. I'm sure someone there could point you in the right direction though!
