Christmas season highlights our goodness. The compassion, the giving, helping of fellow man, empathy for fellow man.

while the rest of the year this seems to get lost. So my wish this holiday season is that we all keep the compassion, caring, helping of fellow man alive through out the year. And let us maintain our empathy for those less fortunate and lend a hand when we can.

peace be with you,

I like this smilingcat. I tend to turn into a real Christmas grouch, because all of a sudden it's all about being a gracious host/ess, a loving family member and a compassionate giving person in general, just for the spate of a few days when I'm usually hit by both bronchitis and mild depression because of the dark. I'd much rather we focus more on spreading it out during the rest of the year, and let those of us who are grumpy and miserable now just be grumpy, without worrying about it "spoiling Christmas".

That is a lovely thought.
I'm all for it (as long as we don't have to listen to Christmas music the whole time).

I am in as well - and ditto on not having to listen to Christmas music all the time :)
