Did anybody else watch the Giro? I couldn't believe it when they said Simoni (this year's winner) only weighed 125 pounds. No wonder he climbs so fast! It was really amazing to watch and notice little things, like how much control and balance they have.
Next up is the Tour!

Yeah the pink frame, pink disc, pink rims and pink glasses were kind of funny. His bike is a Cannondale. I wonder if we could get one just like it. :p Maybe if I wore all pink I'd climb better!

Yes – I saw quite a lot of the Giro. In fact on the day they finished at the top of the 22% climb I actually bunked off work, claiming I was ill ,for the afternoon to watch it live, as our video recorder is broken. My boyfriend was at home anyway and when I got back he’d done a huge salad with mozzarella cheese, olives and Italian beer. It was excellent! ( I really hate my job right now.)
As for pretty in pink – what did he look like! (lol) Did you see he’s sprayed his hair red/pink as well. There’s some cool photos on cyclingnews.com. :D

I got DirecTV satellite and signed up for the sports package just so I could get OLN and watch the Giro, Tour, and Vuelta. I never watch any of the other stations in the package.
