What's your favorite solution?
I don't. I rinse it out with water and make sure I don't leave it wadded up in my gear bag. I usually swim at noon, so my post-swim routine has to be as streamlined as possible.

Take suit off in the shower, rinse under the shower head, run through the Suitmate (little machine that spins it dry) and hang in locker. They seem to last about 1.5 years with this regimen.

I do that too and my suit has lasted about 4 years. I swim about twice a week, although now & then I stop for a while, so probably 8 months of the year I swim twice a week. Maybe that equates to about the same number of swims in your 1.5 years.
