How cool is that? I've yet to see a non-domestic swan. It's snowing at my sister's in Colorado. The most fun bird we've seen lately was a caracara. We get them in the winter, but it seems early this year for some reason.

I'm in northern Minnesota, the snow has been on the ground for a few days. I didn't get pictures because we were working to hard counting swans, ducks and geese as part of migration researh. Good migration day. We had thousands of ducks, mostly ring necked and mallards. Today I will be over in Duluth, watching the tail end of the rapter migration.
