Hi Gals-
There is a bike on Ebay that I am seriously considering. (It is 3x less than new and barely used).
Question: Should I be concerned about buying a bike on Ebay? (It has Buyer Protection, but
no returns). Also, if there are no bids, is that cause for concern? I can't find anything wrong with it!
Thanks...bidding ends soon!

There have been past posts on this issue that you could probably do thread searches on. But here is my super quick response.
1. Have you tested out/ridden this exact bike with this same size before? If not, you may not want to buy because every 1cm change in geometry makes a huge difference in comfort during riding.
2. What are your thoughts on buying a potentially stolen bike if the seller doesn't have the receipts?
3. If you do buy a bike off of eBay, I would immediately take the bike to the LBS for a full inspection and tuneup. If there is a problem, is it worth the risk of buying a used bike off of the internet and then dealing with the refund hassle in order to save money.
The last 2 questions can only be answered by you because I am sure that everyone will probably have a different answer for themselves.

Bought my Titus Racer X from Ebay used and was very happy with it. Also bought my Aegis Swift frame off ebay and was delighted. In both cases the seller was a small LBS/dealer with great feedback, so I knew the bike wasn't stolen.
You definitely need to know whether the geometry will work for you, and I'd only buy from sellers with a proven track record.
Good luck!

Excellent thought re stolen bike. Looked up seller, and he also sold a Cyclops trainer and bike rack...looks to me
that he is getting out of the bike life, poor guy. Sorry not to have thought about looking up previous posts; I have
been good about that up to now. In regard to this bike, I still can't figure out why there aren't many bids on a 54"
frame that looks pristine, along with the rest of it.

Thanks Emily-
seller seems to be ok. I did try the bike and loved it.
Thanks
