All of a sudden the weather has rolled back to early September :) High of 78 today, 80 tomorrow, and equally nice weather the following two days. Of course, come the weekend, it will be much cooler but I will take what I can get. My 53rd birthday is tomorrow so will take a half-day (work permitting) and my Gunnar is already quivering with excitement as both pedals and knee appear to be in pretty darn good shape ;) I would LOVE to ride my age tomorrow, but considering I've been dealing with a cranky knee for a month now I suppose that wouldn't be wise - regardless of how it feels right now. I will enjoy every moment of whatever I choose to ride!

My Giant Revel1 its itching for some action.......none for the past 2 weeks if I am not mistaken.
My thighs are still aching a little from yesterday 35 windy miles but I will take anything I can get from the nice weather...so Avon trails here I come!!

Indian summer here too, in the mid Atlantic. I got a new saddle in August, but life has been chewing me up and spitting me back out and I haven't had time to ride. I think I've been out maybe three times in three weeks. :( I hope to change that this week. At least, the weather is cooperating. I miss riding. Enjoy the weather while you can!

I rode today--I haven't been able to do a birthday ride for the last two years, so I'm very happy to finally get one in, even though I didn't get to ride my age. It was supposed to rain, but I took my jacket and it held off. (Go figure.) I'd intended to take today off and do a century. Because of a knee injury, it wasn't going to happen. So I got a ride in tonight (the last half in the dark, which was fun), and my knee isn't too annoyed with me. Yay!

Wanted to mountain bike today but it rained :( . Watching tv now and will be jumping on the trainer in a few for at least 30-45 minutes

Lucky you. We've got wet sloppy snow which will freeze overnight and turn the roads into skating rinks.
