MTB hydro brakes for small hands

Is anyone familiar with the comparison of Avid and/or Magura hydrolic brakes for a mountain bike? (I have small hands)
My brakes now are for smaller hands and work great but i am looking to put those on my commuter and up grading to hydros for the dirt...

My old (2001 vintage) Magura Julie's could not be adjusted and they caused me all sorts of problems, however I'm sure they've changed the lever shape since then and allowed for reach adjustment. I use Hope brakes now which can defo be adjusted for reach and I'm sure most decent modern disk systems allow you to do it easily.

I saw a discussion on this the other day - the Avid Juicy 7s were mentioned as good for small hands, and there was some disagreement as to whether the Magura LouiseFR were adjustable enough or not. I have Juicy 5's myself, and can vouch for them being a nice brake to use, but I have really long fingers so haven't needed to do any adjusting to them. I assume the adjustability would be the same as with the Juicy 7's.

I have teenie weenie hands, but my solution is old tech from a few years ago (Hayes hydros with Razorrock levers)...

DH says the Avid Juicy 7 is well-known as great for small hands. He thinks the Hayes El Camino is good, and the Magura Marta....that last one is a phenomenal brake, so it's worth a try. I think it's worth a try on all of them....go to the LBS and try squeezing some levers!! :p

I have Juicy 7s which I've been using for about a year and haven't noticed any problems with reach. My stubby little fingers are happy.

The only hydraulic disc brakes I've ever ridden with are the Hayes Sole ones (pretty entry level, really) I have on my current bike, so I can't really weigh in on what might be best. I can say though that I have never read or heard anyone say anything bad about Juicies.
