Matte Paint maintenance

I've got a matte black finish. I can't use my car wax (Griot's Best of Show) on it like I can on my husband's glossy bike paint. I am thinking about trying Dr. Beasley's matte paint sealant - has anyone tried this product before? If you have matte paint, what do you use on it? I do not want to build a shine onto the flat finish.

We use this and it seems to make the matte really clean looking and makes the colors POP. I can't see any product building a shine onto a matte finish.

Armour All makes a similar peoduct that works well on matte finished too.
