Great results with creams for hot flashes

This worked for me, so I wanted to mentioning case it can help others. The hot flashes got so bad that I finally decided to pay cash for estrogen cream. It has worked like a charm! My doc also has me on progesterone lozenges, and testosterone cream.

It's a crime that insurance companies will to pay for this. But at this point, I have no other choice. What I really like about the creams is that you can adjust the dose simple with a click of the dispenser.

Just an update. The creams and progesterone continue to work splendidly! I have been sleeping so well, and no hot flashes.

If you get the creams compounded, get them put in a click dispenser. What is great is that with one click, I can increase or decrease the amount I need.

I use an OTC bio identical progesterone cream I get from my MD that's only $15 a tube. It's a life saver!

Sigh. I'm jealous. I tried yet another bioidentical compound and had the same bad reactions - b*tchy, bloated, can't wear my contacts (dry eyes) etc. My naturopath prescribed Maca & a friend of mine swears by it. It will take several weeks, but hopefully...

In the meantime, I've been directed to do tofu/flaxseed/soy milk shakes with a bit of fruit in the morning. Attacking these hot flashes on all fronts, no? It just sucks to be putting on makeup & having it run down your face faster than you can rub it in. (whine whine whine)
