I finally got it!

After a long wait and periods of indecision, I finally bit the bullet and bought my first road bike - a 2012 Cannondale Synapse with Apex. I don't have actual pictures of it yet, but it's the model below. I wasn't sure I was actually going to plunk down my credit card and get this because when I started looking for bikes, carbon frames were the furthest thing from my mind. :p

Anyway - I guess now I need to invest in some padded shorts for when I go on longer rides. Are there any fairly cheap and comfortable brands/models you guys recommend?
