Belize is pretty far away from Costa Rica, but I wonder if Emily felt any tremors.

Ach!!! For some reason I thought Emily was in Costa Rica!!!

My bad, sorry. (I can't remember what day it is, either...)

Nonetheless I hope Emily is doing well!! And that the damage is not too bad.

Nice of you to think of me, ny biker, but the earthquake was on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, and I'm way up here in Northern Belize, just south of Mexico, on the Caribbean Sea. So nothing at all here. Fortunately, Belize is pretty safe from earthquakes and tsunamis, based on how the fault lines run. Not so hurricanes, though. I will breathe a sigh of relief once h-cane season is behind us!
