What makes one jersey so much more expensive than another one? Is there a huge difference between a jersey that sells for $59 - $75 than one that is price around $125? Do the more expensive ones last longer?

Sometimes you get what you pay for (in quality) and sometimes they are just *really* proud of their logo or the brand.
I've bought cheap jerseys and expensive jerseys and have fallen apart quickly. I've also had cheap jerseys and expensive jerseys last for years.
I stopped buying jerseys a few years ago. I just buy normal shirts that can be worn both on the bike and when I run. I do an equal amount of both sports. I bought a fairly big Bento box for the bike so I don't need the pockets to carry things anymore.

To me, the biggest difference for the most part is the difference in the materials and how well they do in heat. Living in MN, this may not be as huge to you, but in Texas, I will pay whatever I have to to get the wickiest, breathiest, lightest, highest SPFiest jerseys (and shorts) I can get.

My personal favorite best hot weather jerseys are those made by YMX, which TE sells. Love their designs, but more importantly, I love their Madcool fabric. I always love it if I can score one on sale.

Most jerseys I buy are around 75.00-100.00 for a short sleeved jersey. More for long sleeved, less for sleeveless. I try to buy on sale, but I generally get one or two a year to add to my collection, as I throw out others. Generally, I stick to brands I know fit and have the wicking properties/seams/length I like. I do buy full priced at times. However, really expensive stuff like jackets I shop around. I just received the Assos jacket I ordered (free shipping) from a site/shop in the UK. It was half price, not cheap, but still a lot less than regular Assos prices.
I like the YMX material, but not quite happy with the fit, as they have light elastic on the bottom. I am thin, but it still rides up.
