Just got rid of my alum road bike. I've decided that Ti is not for me. Tried it and did not like the feel. But carbon is another story all together. :D
SWEET is the word.

So I'm now hunting again. Sorry I have to ask this question again but which company produces WSDs ? [ saw it in the forum somewhere but can't seem to find it again ... sorry for repeating]

I'm looking for a full carbon bike. I've narrowed my choice to a Trek WSD, Giant TCR (hopefully the XS will fit me) and Specialized Ruby (drooling ... *gosh* .. I have to stop it :D ). Any comments on these frames ?

Next step .. check out the bike stores for a feel of these bikes.

I just got a Trek Madone 5.9 WSD - I have only ridden it a couple of times but I love the feel.:D It is unbelievable how smooth the ride is. And the bike sooooo light. Just my $.02.

I have an XS Giant TCR Composite 2 that I just love. I've had it since May of last year and she's perfect for me. Very comfortable and cute!!

Hey Moogal, So you didn't like the Camena? I was wondering how that would turn out for you, glad you had the chance to test drive and decide for yourself. I never did try a carbon bike...good luck with you decision.

Hi luv'nAustin. Unfortunately I could not find any camena in Singapore for me to try  Only managed to try a friend's litespeed Siena. Perhaps it was the wrong fit but the feel was not as good as another friend's Trek WSD 5000.

hey moogal, Do you live in Singapore? I lived at Regency Park about twelve years ago and I still have a friend that lives there and one that visits often.

Hi Karri,

Yup, born in Singapore, bred in Singapore and stil living in Singapore :) Hey, what an coincidence ! uhmm .. I think Regency Park is still around. Cool ! So if your friends ever need any local help, just let me know.
The cycling retail environment in Singapore is pathetic for ladies. I've checked with the bike stores - no litespeed bella, no merlin camena, no specialized ruby .. unless I pay them a deposit to bring the bike in :(. I had to buy all my lovely terry butterfly saddles directly from usa too cos no retail shops(cemented or online) in Singapore carries them.

And my only link to Texas - I studied for a semester at the University of North Texas .. nice quiet town called Denton.

Hey Moogal, isn't it great fun window shopping for bikes? Its ALMOST as much fun as actually taking it out of the shop and riding it for the first time...

I see you are looking for a fully carbon frame? I know its very "in vogue" at the moment and I too lust after a Carbon frame one day, but in this season's bike reviews in Cycling plus (which my Mum has sent to New Zealand for me from the UK) they rated the Lemond Reno as their women's race bike of the year. Its reviews say its a very comfortable and responsive ride and the C+ guys said " Specialised put more thought into women and Lemond put more thought into racing" so the Lemond is faster and the Dolce more comfortable.

They do have a full range with prices to match - it might be worth a look? Just to add to the confusion and make the decision even harder?!

Happy shopping, and do let us know what you get in the end.

Hi Chay, I understand the limited selections available to you as space is such an issue in Singapore. They just don't have the room to offer a wide variety of items. Don't give up and enjoy the search.

Its an Argon 18 Krypton. Nice carbon frame :)
