This is what I asked Trek 420 yesterday:
"How's Spazz doing on her house hunt?"

This is her reply:
I'll let her announce the news :)

Surlygirl "Aw, now you guys are just teasing me."

hmmmmm, could be   ;)

after checking with the Spazzdog I have been authorized to announce the following: Spazz has the keys to her new doghouse. It's in Oakland and near Piedmont Ave for those who know the city. And it's cuuuuuute.

Date, time, details off the unload party TBA. As the person in charge of beer I'm soliciting suggestions for types of beer.

Surlygirl is "doing the East coast happy dance for her. :D :D :D"

t'was funny, when the land lord called to tell her she got the pad, she warned him "now hold your ears" and then she covered the phone with her hand, held it away from her and did a big Texas sized "yeee hah!"

Then back to the phone to calmly seal the deal.

I'm told he was cracking up.

"alas the snow shall return on Sunday"

and alas the Spazzdog returns on Saturday.

hehehehehe. I'm told I'm good at that too. But I guess it's because I grew up there ;)

Ahh, but soon, SOON! she'll be here for good :)

Trek- I think we should start a new thread- when you know the date of our famous "dog"'s arrival and load off.

I probably won't make it to the unload, but I'd sure plan to come to a celebration!!!!!

BG, ah, so you plan to arrive fashionably late, be there for the pizza and beer and cleverly miss the unloading part? But it's cross training! :D

Spazzdog unloading party TBA, she's on the way back today and will announce her return trip I'm sure.

Thanks TE gals for being supportive. Now on to coordinate pizza and beer. What's your favorite local pizza joint and or after cross training beer or non alcholic beverage of choice ale? amber ale? fat tire ale of course!

there's always someone who just wants Bud. ;)

The darker the better (uh I feel a joke coming on....). I really like Murphys Stout and Mackeson Triple X-Stout.

As for Pizza, jobob knows a great pizza place out in the Fremont area. Not too sure about Oakland though. Anybody try extreme pizza? They have some interesting combinations.

oh, and since I am the vegetarian beer snob (no meat, no bud) :p :D , I'm happy to bring my own. Just let me know.........

On the pizza part I'll bet we can find a good spot on Piedmont Ave OR College Ave for that matter. Might as well start the neighborhood cuisine tour.:D :D

I join CindySue on the veggie alternative, but that's pretty easy. No alcoholic bevs for me :( :( :( . I'm generally good with plain old water and lemon.

Somebody has to say it, ya' know we're all thinking it, ok, here goes.

I like my beer like I like my women: tall, dark, strong .... and non alchaholic ;-)

ok, so we're not all thinking that, some of us like real beer...and the guys who drink it or short women or .... oh never mind ;-)

Anyone tried 'Zzas on Grand? Zachary pizza is great and there's one nearby on College.

true that, I think they are known for the sign in the back of the restaraunt.

Never tried 'em but if you say they are good bet they are! Anything called Rustica's gotta be good

Sounds fun, you guys. I probably won't make it up (if I were closer....), so I'll just send my best wishes. Congrats to The Spazz Dawg on finding her new dawghouse so quick!;)

yep, now she just needs a thrilling and exciting job that will give time to ride, and swiffers and paper towels and whatever you need when you move in if you're one who cleans I suppose...someone please explain to her what that big yellow thing is in the sky and that this is what ground looks like without snow.

BG has suggested an introductory ride series that doubles as welcome to the sites of the Bay Area.

ok folks, new thread started as details are starting to arrive.
