Virginia beach anyone?

Ladies!

Hubby and I are heAding back home to visit his family over labor day weekend. Anyone Know of any place that might let me rent a road bike? Would take my willy but it's just too expensive. :-( or! Anyone have any buddies there that might have a small frame for me and a 54 for the hubs? Would be willing to pay? Would need it aug 29-sep 5! Ah! I just can't stay off my bike that long. If all else fails I could rent a beach cruiser ...meh!

It's been a couple years since we've been to VA Beach. I know there is at least one place that rents cruisers, but I don't remember seeing any other types of bikes there. We typically stay at the Marriott that is more centrally located on the strip when we go.

we stay with our family up there, about 2 miles from the oceanfront :) :)

When we go it's typically for a weekend when Oceana has their airshow. We just haven't been able to make it the last couple of years. Glad my little bit of what I can remember helps.

when will you be going back?

i have found a LBS that is willing to let me borrow one-- praise the lord. I was debating on shipping willy...but i figured hey...why not try out a sweet new ride??

Not really sure. Right now trying to climb out of debt we got into with hubby having been laid off then a move across the state. We are managing, but it's going to take awhile, so vacations have been put on hold for the time being.
