... yes, my last visit was 12-17-2011 ... and I decided I had to trim the distractions since I'd signed up for a 2-D animation class with grand goals --
but ... I miss this amazing community and hope it's still the incredible mess of support that it was before...
... so this semester it will be Less Facebook and More TE (and possibly a *little* less time behind the computer, but *definitely* more bike riding. I think I'll barely get in 5 or 6 K this year... which is fine because it is BEcause I Was Doing Fun Stuff, but ... I miss the body that was doing 8-10K and since the body is now 52 that stuff is really imp;ortant.)
Looking forward to catching up...

Hey, good to see you back here.
I love the beginning of every school term. It's always fresh and new and hopeful.

Okay, I also knew y'all would make me feel welcome :)

Yes, I *love* the slightly cleaned slate that each semester brings -- but the transition from summer where yes, I'm at work, but with about 1/10 as many students so I'm dabbling in projects and reading and... to FALL with a constant flow of students with questions and confusions so that I must remind myself to extract myself at lunchtime and GO RIDE MY BIKE ... two laps around campus and my head is clear and I can remember what day it is ;)

And this year the bike racks were full :) http://www.resourceroom.net/cycling/bikerackfall2012.jpg
