Riding around Montreal?

My husband and I are thinking of taking our tandem to Montreal for a few days later this month. My thought is, find a "home" base, do some nice cycling, then go out for a nice dinner.
If anyone has suggestions, ideas, etc. I am all ears!

Momentum recently had an article about biking in Montreal.

I rented a bike a few months ago when I was there for a conference. The Mount Royal (for which the city is named) is lovely. So is the bike path along the canal, and the one-mile bridge (bike/ped only).

I rented from Caroule. They also do bike tours. I was tempted, but the tours didn't work with my schedule.
