New Bike! YAY!

I know many folks will poke fun at me, but I love this bike, the look and when I tried it, it feels wonderful. It's the VERY PINK, Raleigh Capri 2.0. I was looking on craigslist for a used bike, and my husband said, "Listen, just get a new one, since to fix an old one up the way you want it, would cost as much." The bike wasn't overly pricey, it fits, it feels good, and Lordy it is PRETTY!

I was riding around on an old MTB, a Pacific 3500, which is a good bike for trails, but it's far too clunky for all the road work I want to do.

I'll take some pictures after I drop my son at football speed class. I LOVE this bike!!!:p

Meet "Candy"! I am taking her out in a little while. We'll ride to the bike shop to get her fitted with water bottle holders, and me with some bike shorts! This little seat is killing my JLo.

Thank you! I just love her-we didn't make it all the way to the LBS, since it's already 90, and humid. (I suffered heat stroke in early July, on one of those 100 degree days-my doctor is still mad at me for not going to the ER right away-I don't like hospitals) So, I took her around the neighborhood a bit, and I will drive to the LBS to get the waterbottle holder.

There's loads of people in my neighborhood that bike, and one guy that I see almost every time I'm out saw me and just said "Cool bike, gotta love pink" :D

He's got a really nice Cervelo, and all matching clothes and gear. I love that stuff.
