Not for me, but my son. He's taking home DH's beloved Pro Miyata full Campy beloved (now vintage) bike. He lives in Mesa. The bike will need some servicing from someone who appreciates old classics, and son needs a couple of fit adjustments. Any suggestions? Thank you. Irulan

That has to be a little heartwrenching. :)

What about Running Mommy's shop Estrella Cyclery in Goodwill? Tell son that you are a regular here on TE, or phone, email? Something to that effect.
I hope this helps.

This works pretty well. Said bike will fit son beautifully with a little tweak, vintage bike will get some use and a a good home in the family.

RM's shop is close to 50 miles away from Mesa. That is not particularly convenient.
Although, she may have a recommendation for someone closer. I've been away from the area so long, I have no idea.

I'm sure he can find someone he works with (GD) who bikes a lot. It appears to be a pretty bike friendly place: lockers and showers, what more can you ask for?

DBF would recommend Mike's Bike Chalet or whatever it's called, but he's a bit biased because he worked there for a year. ;) I'll ask when I talk to him this evening.

Boyfriend still says Mike's Bikes. Apparently they're pretty good about doing things like that, and if they can't, they'll say so and recommend someone who can.
