Can anyone compare the fit of any of the following shoes (Terra Vent, Terra Lite, and Multi Surface) to Sidi Doms or Genius?
I'm looking for a townie shoe for errands. Unfortunately, I need shoes that fit an extremely high instep combined with a wide toe box and narrow heel. That rules out PI, Shimano, Scott, Bontrager, etc. Additionally, what about the size? I wear a 38.5 in Sidi.

I couldn't find any LG shoes in town to try on so I'm hoping someone here has a little experience. I hesitate to call TE since they don't either have my size in the Vent (which may no longer be available in the US) or carry the Terra Lite which looks like it is the next best option.
Thanks!

I have the Garneau Terra Lite shoe ( http://www.louisgarneau.com/ca-en/product/0/1487093/_/WOMEN_TERRA_LITE_SHOES ).
I have a wide forefoot and a high instep. I tried on various other shoes (Specialized, Sidi, PI) and none of them could accommodate my wide forefoot. As far a sizing goes, in regular shoes I normally wear a size 7 or 7 1/2, and in the Garneau Terra Lite shoes I bought a size 39.
The only negative thing I can say about them is that the binding on the top-most part of the tongue is stiff and tends to irritate my foot. But that is minor, and the rest of my foot is well-supported and comfy.

Maybe they'll work!
If I wear a 6-6.5 in dress shoes and a 7 in running shoes, would you recommend the 38? Per the LG sizing chart, a US 7= LG 38 but you bought a 39. They don't list a size equivalent for US 7.5.
Maybe the one and only Terra Vent left on TE would fit since it is a 38.
Interesting that the Terra Vent doesn't show on LG's US site, but does on the Canadian site.
Thanks so much for the good info.

Ha! Hi Ho, I just spoke to Edna at TE and it sounds like you and she have twin feet, right down to the size. I think I'll give the 38 a whirl.

I think you'll probably be okay, given your size in dress shoes. I initially tried the 38's but had to take them back ...I had been having foot problems and they were ever so slightly too tight for my feet. (I also tried the 40's and they were definitely too large.)
Good luck!

Crud. The 38s are ginormous. At least the toe box and instep are what I need.
And nothing to order from TE in exchange . . . :(

If the toe box and instep fit, what makes them "ginormous"?

No, the instep and toe box don't fit. I can just tell that they'll be wide enough and tall enough with a shorter shoe. With the 38, you can see my toe nails through the vents! There's an easy inch down there.

The size 37s fit fabuously. Unfortunately, Crank Bros cleats don't. WTH?
No choice but to pull out the Dremel Tool and remodel a brand new pair of shoes.
