Coeur d'Fondo, Sept. 29, 2012

We usually have lovely weather here in Coeur d'Alene in September (Disclaimer: usually is not "always"). This is an event with several different ride lengths. At this point, having previously only ever ridden 25 miles in a day, then doing a 4th of July 70 miler followed by a July 8 half century in 90+ degree temps, I'm weenie-ing out and doing the 35 mile ride. But that may just be my nether regions talking...

I'm hiking Asgaard Pass during that time, so I've added it to my 2013 Bucket List! :D

So close, yet so far away. I think we are traveling to a wedding that weekend. :(

Some friends of mine will be doing it, though, the kids and shorter distances are perfect. I hope it goes really well, I'd like to see another fall ride on the rotation!

oh, I would love to be there. I will plan for next year. There is no way I can swing time off this soon since I just took a bunch.

This ride officially made my 2013 Bucket List. DH would like to tag along....I think he wants to play the golf course there ;)

Showed this ride to DH and he was really interested when he saw that the entry fee included the beer garden :) (Surely they just mean entry into the beer garden) I would never get him out of the beer garden to ride if that were the case!
