I'm trying to decide whether or not to do this ride (and therefore request time off), since it's in my city. Anyone here done it? How was it? 25 miles, regardless of terrain, is doable. There's a 50-mile option. I can do 50 on relatively flat ground provided I eat. The route is described as "gently rolling." I haven't really ridden any hills since I moved. I could make dates with the trainer, I guess, but...

Okay, I requested the time off and filled out the entry form. Now I just have to mail it. I'll have to scope out the roads around the starting point.

Enjoy, Owlie! You could always do the 95 miler! :)

LOL! My butt was sore enough with tonight's 50-miler, though I think some of that was the shorts (yep, the Sugois have had it). I'm a little scared of the hills, but I'm giving myself permission to walk up them if need be.

I can't find a route for the Wright Ride, but I'm sure you'll do great! And, yes, absolutely walk those hills if you need too. It still counts! :)
