Hi!
I want to do my first century this year, and it looks like the Hillsboro (Oregon) Harvest Century in September is the one best suited to me - plenty of time to train, likely mild temperatures, rural setting, and a family friendly atmosphere at the start/finish.

Are there any Pacific NW TE'ers who were thinking about doing this ride? If so, perhaps we could meet at the ride or do some training together?

I'm a "slow and steady finishes the ride" type of cyclist so I wouldn't expect anyone to keep me company the whole way, but it would be fun to know at least someone else who's on the route!

Thanks,
Susan

Sounds tempting. Looks like T-shirt is available too. Does anyone know the quality of their past T-shirts. Some events its a nice 100% cotton. At other events it was pretty flimsy... What does the design look like.

I might ride a leisurely 45miler. Would be pretty hard pressed to get me to ride the 100. I'm just being lazy. I think its a good first time 100 mile ride though. Nothing too steep less than 5% grade for not too long. And only 4000 feet of climb.

back to napping outside. It's SUNNY TODAY!! :D:D:cool:
