Bought the Pure Flow a couple months ago and have been wearing them pretty regularly. They're comfy, similar to the way the Kinvaras felt but not so pointy.

But they seem to be rotting the bottoms off of my feet.

Last month, my forefoot peeled off. Now the bottoms of both of my heels are peeling.

I'm wearing the same old running socks I've had forever - mostly wool, mix of smartwool and teko and keens and lorpens.

Has anyone else had this problem? My feet have never sweated bad enough for the skin to just peel off after running. I'm sort of afraid to do a long distance race in them.

Interesting. I have a pair and like them, but haven't worn them for more than 5 miles at a crack, I don't think. I prefer my Nike Free Runs (because I have stupid wide feet, so even the Pure Flows are a little narrow, especially after a few miles, when my feet swell).

My feet sweat a lot in the a brooks Pure Flows but not to the point of skin peeling off. I do get blisters on my pinky toes since my feet are wider.

I've ditched the shoes entirely. Not only was I sweating up a storm, they were causing tendon pain on the top of my feet because the tongue doesn't stay put. Back to Kinvaras/Peregrines for me.

I found the PureFlows and PureConnects were more snug on my feet and helped keep my plantar fasciitis in check compared to the New Balance Minimus Roads and Saucony Peregrines that I was running in previously.
