Thanks for sharing this. I went to a League workshop last night and I saw they had a magazine but I haven't read one yet. I didn't know I could access it without being a member. :)

Become a member! It's quite exciting being in this profession. I only wish I had followed my heart earlier. There were just not many opportunities back when I was in grad school, and the general view of bicycles at that time and in that place was that they were for recreation and only a fringe transportation option.
Better late than never. Thanks for reminding me to read my magazines, Oak.

I just might! I saw a work from home communications coordinator position was opened recently, either for the league or another big bike group (I forget which). That is so sweet! I'd love a job like that. I just got hired at my current job last sept. and I want more experience before I move on. That's going to make someone a cool job and in an exciting field.

It was with APBP, the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals. I'm a member and they are a great organization with lots of resources and active members. It would be a great job for someone passionate about the field and knowledgable about media and communications.
