I just discovered Momentum Biking Magazine. I love it... I discovered while my bike was being fixed from my commute day issues. Go read about that on the commute board.

Anyway, this is great magazine about smart living by bike. You can also read online.

I subscribed to it a few months ago. I'm not entirely sold on it. I like the gear reviews. I haven't gotten as much out of the articles as I'd hoped.

On the other hand when I was a new cyclists, I think I would have liked it a lot.

I guess that's probably a pretty difficult balance, to keep putting out new info while also putting out the old info (and by "old" I just mean, commuting tips, things I've already figured out the hard way).

Anyway I haven't made up my mind yet whether to renew.

Melavi I would suggest you drop a note to Sarah Ripplinger, the editor and suggest deeper, longer articles. I know her (as well as some other folks on the editorial board).

The tough thing about writing non-racing/competitive cycling, is to delve into deeper, longer which articles then it might verge on something akin to light academic writing that explores cycling culture, trends, liveability, etc. Which is not exactly their market.
