They did a fun poll today: 580+ employees responded to a fun poll on whether or not they would cycle and participate in Bike to Work Day next Friday.
There's going to be pancakes, meet up at a place for cyclists about 3 km. from work. Plus there are energy stations with food and info. throughout the city on that day.
8% of responding employees said they cycle to work anyway and would participate.
Thought that was a decent % cycling to work. (Keep in mind over 8,000+ employees can access our intranet daily. But with all employees, including those who work outside and don't need access to our intranet, that's 14,000 employees.)
We'll see next Friday, the big day. Hopefully no snow, no heavy rain. :rolleyes:
