New Puppy

Well, I have not been browsing these forums as much lately or even riding my bikes:eek: because

....We got a new puppy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D

We picked him up Easter Sunday (best Easter present EVER!) from a breeder in Indiana.

He is a Shih Tzu and oh so adorable. I named him Tiger because he has a very unusual striped tail and acts like a cat sometimes..stalking dandilions:p

After losing two dogs in the past few years McKinley (our female Shih Tzu) was lonely and it was time to add a new member to the family.

I think Shih Tzus are the cutest puppies ever. I was actually never a fan of small dogs but, after dating/marrying DH and meeting McKinley..they are truely... a very special breed:)

Yes, I think they will get along fine. She had to teach him a few things at first..like-"do not run at my face-- and bite my ears-I hate that!!!" LOL, but I think she likes him now.

At the other end of the canine scale, my neighbor just got an Irish Wolfhound puppy. Amazing...11 weeks and 43 pounds, paws as big as my fist.

Thanks!! Brought a smile to my face...DH and I lost our 14.5 y/o shih tzu at the end of December. I could not have asked for a better dog. They are the best.:)

Thank you everyone. Oh Boy!!!! I forgot how much work puppies are:p But, I love it!!! Just wish I had some time to ride.

I will be getting him a matching bike trailer from REI, like we got for McKinley at Christmas time....that should help out:D
