This was DH's bike. Here is his description:
2005 Pocket Rocket Pro -- Black
Priced right at $725 plus the cost of shipping. (You pay shipping)
I am selling a Black Pocket Rocket Pro that has not seen much use in the past few years. It has about 500-600 miles on it. It took a few business trips to Europe in its nice Samsonite hardcase. Been sitting in its case for a long time. It is time to find it a new owner, someone that will use and enjoy it. Besides the bike, it has a nice saddle and a useful seat-post connected bag. There is a pedal wrench and the needed allen (hex) wrench, but you will need to put on your own pedals. The 5mm/6mm hex wrench is stored on the bottle cage. There is also a very nice Samsonite hardcase that was purchased with the bike with some packing materials.
The bike is mechanically A-OK. Everything works. I am 5' 7" and weigh 145. My inseam is 30". Just for comparison, if it helps, my other race bike has a 53cm top tube. I would say the bike should fit a good range of riders due to lots of seat post length.
The chrome decorative piece is missing from the Shimano 105 left side shift lever. But the lever works perfectly. The Bike Friday emblem fell off the head tube (needs to be glued back on, but it is in a bag in the case). I never got around to gluing it back on.
An extra front quick release is in the bag as I only used the one it came with for shipping purposes to keep the front fork safe from damage.
Directions for packing and bike use are included.
I have the original specification sheet for the bike from Green Gear, Inc., the Bike Friday company. The original cost was $2386.
