Yuba Mundo and Cargo bikes

I just got my Yuba Mundo in and I couldn't be happier! I have two little ones in tow (1 and 3) and I have barely used the car in 2 weeks, putting over 200 miles on my bikes this month. I was really surprised at how well the Yuba handles. If it wasn't for the baby seat on my handlebars, I wouldn't notice a difference at all. It's a cargo bike rated for 400lbs of stuff but I haven't come close to that...yet... who knows? Today was our first longer ride of 35 miles. I wanted more but the cold and the wind were a bit too much for the wee ones.

Anyone else with cargo bikes? I'm curious to see how others are customizing their rigs. If anyone is interested, our journey going "car-freer" is at www.tinyhelmetsbigbikes.com.

I saw your post last night and checked out your blog...great bike! Could you put both boys on the back or is the youngest too small?

I could put them both on the back. In fact, we just moved the Peanut Shell forward so there was enough room in the back for a seat-less rider. Right now, I like the set up we have. I can reach my youngest, pat his belly, give him snacks, etc. My eldest is pretty self sufficient but I like them both in arm's reach. My plan was that if the Mini Yepp didn't work for the front, I would move them both to the back but so far, so good. It's an ever evolving machine though. :p Also, my eldest was staying at Grandma's so I let the little one ride home in the back. He seemed fine with it but he was still a little wobblier than I would have liked and when he fell asleep, he didn't seem as comfortable.
